Award Winning and Minnesota Music Hall of Fame Vocalist Patty Peterson and her Friends were the very first group to take the Crooner stage on opening night more than a decade ago. Patty returns with her Contemporary Jazz/Funk/R&B Band to Crooners Main Stage Showroom once again. Patty will be performing plenty of new music in this 90-minute set, alongside her very special and talented bandmates. Patty and Friends 2.0 will be performing their music renditions of Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Oleta Adams, Lionel Ritchie, Steve Miller, Bill Withers, Michael Ruff as well as many songs from Patty’s solo albums. This evening will be a high energy funky good time. Don’t miss it.

Patty has performed to sold-out audiences all over the country such as Crooners in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Vibrato, Catalina’s Jazz Club and The Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, California. In addition, Patty received the coveted Minnesota Music Award 7 times for best vocalist as well as best jazz recording and in 2019, she was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, along with her siblings. She was also named Minnesota’s Jazz Hero of 2020 via the Jazz Journalists Association for all her contributions to the Jazz community in Minnesota. Patty has released 5 solo recordings which featuring luminaries Sheila E., David Hazeltine, Stokley Williams, and Ira Sullivan, as well as members of her entire family. Patty’s latest CD is a holiday recording entitled “Count Your Blessings”. Patty is also an on air radio personality for KBEM – Jazz 88.
